Privacy policy
How Verdora Landscape Studio collects, uses and protects the information you share with us.

What we collect
When you request a quote we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, project location, property and project type, budget range, timeline, and anything you write in the message field or attach as a photograph.
When you subscribe to the Journal we collect your email address and nothing else.
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies.
Why we collect it
We use quote information solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and deliver work you commission. We use your email address for the Journal only if you asked for it, and every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone, ever.
Who else sees it
Your information is handled by our own team and by the service providers that make the studio run — our email provider, our hosting provider, and our customer relationship system. Each is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions.
We disclose information to anyone else only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 24 months. Records relating to completed work are retained for the length of our workmanship warranty and any applicable statutory period, because we need them to honour that warranty.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act you also have the right to know what we collect and to opt out of any sale of personal information — we do not sell any.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@verdora.com or call (415) 555 0132. We respond within 30 days.
Security
The site is served over TLS, form submissions are transmitted encrypted, and access to enquiry data is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of your information seriously and review our practices annually.
